Sometimes, the revision of their claim and management practices removes the provider from the list, which means that its services are no longer covered. If you receive health care or supplies from an unlisted provider, Sun Life will not reimburse you for your expenses. You can continue to obtain services from the unlisted provider, but your application is refused. The plan covers expenses that are medically necessary in relation to the nature and severity of the disease. As with most plans, payment is limited to what is considered reasonable and usual in Ontario, regardless of where you charge the fees.
